Wine Bloggers Conference 2008

Can you imagine a room filled with people who love to blog about wine? From October 24-26, 2008 in Sonoma County, California dozens of wine bloggers got together with industry leaders to share experiences, taste wines,  and blog about the event and, of course, the wine. It was so popular among bloggers that it was a completely sold out event.

With hundreds of bloggers throughout North America writing regular wine reviews, time will tell as to how great an influence they will have on consumers and their wine purchases. Although independent bloggers were never perceived as competition for newspaper or magazine reviewers of wines, it is very clear that many of these bloggers have developed very big and loyal followings. This convention was an opportunity for new wine bloggers to learn from seasoned professionals about blogging and, more importantly, for all the bloggers to share their love of wine.
